The Ghorepani-Poonhill trek is a very popular soft and easy trek in Nepal which is well known as the ‘Annapurna Mini Circuit’. The highest point of this trek is Poon Hill which is 3210 meters from the sea level and the highlight of this trek is an early morning pilgrimage to nature at Poon Hill for a amazing sunrise over the Himalayas where the mountains stretch to Ghandruk, as far as the eye can see north towards Tibet & West towards the Dhaulagiri Himal and then swerves towards the East with superb views of the Annapurna Himal. This is not a difficult trek but it helps if you have a realistic degree of fitness. This trek is said to be the best introduction to a warm up for any challenging treks that you’d like to do in big time in the future…out in the wild with some of the most stunning views on earth…..
